Special Parent's Afternoon Out Spring 2026: Saturday, May 30th, 2026, Noon – 3:00 pm

Our Spring 2026 Event is fast approaching! On Saturday May 30th, 2026, from Noon – 3:00 pm, Resurgent Church will host the 27th semi-annual Special Parent's Afternoon Out Respite Event and Special Needs Carnival!

All families in Northern New Jersey and surrounding areas with children with disabilities are welcome and encouraged to take part!

Our guests with disabilities (and their siblings) will be cared for and entertained by loving and qualified volunteers while their parents or caregivers enjoy a complimentary afternoon out including lunch for two (2) at the restaurant of their choice in the Chester, Mendham and Bedminster, NJ area.

Lunch, music, movies, games, pony rides, hot-air balloon rides, canvas painting, face painting, hayrides, bounce house, fire truck, game truck and numerous other activities for the kids will be hosted at Resurgent Church, 3545 Route 206, Far Hills, NJ.

Please note, out of an abundance of caution, this event will be limited to the first 100 families and/or 200 children registered! Registration is now open! (see RSVP)

Childcare supervised by volunteers from the following area Schools and Hospitals:
